The Boston Chapter AGO Placement Service provides information of positions open in institutions for musicians seeking employment.
To move forward, please fill out our Job Placement Form (which will download to your computer) and email to our Placement Coordinator, Christine Hogan with “BAGO Placement Request” in the subject line. Feel free to attach any additional information, such a detailed job description, in this email.

The placement fee covers a 6-month listing on our website. We encourage you to attach a document to your placement request with all details of your position, and direct links to your website.
Job listings are placed under the restricted “Members’ Area” of our website, as a service to our members and to prevent ‘trolling’ for positions from non-Chapter parties.
AGO Headquarters has publised a new resource in February 2021 “Employing Musicians in Religious Institutions: A Handbook for Committees and Candidates“. This booklet provides perspective for clergy and lay persons responsible for the process which will bring effective and talented musicians to religious institutions and their diverse membership. The booklet is available for download here.
